The film ‘Miss Moxy’ follows the adventure of the cat Moxy, who, after being kidnapped in the south of France, must find her way back home. Her journey is an exciting and hilarious adventure across Europe, during which Moxy broadens her perspective and discovers the true meaning of friendship.
For this film, Polder Animation was responsible for the overall production design and art direction, shaping the visual identity and aesthetic of the entire project.
As a studio, we were closely involved from the earliest stages of development, leading the pre-preproduction process. This involved defining how the film would look and feel in 3D — from initial visual development to setting the tone for the world and its characters.
Our team modeled all 67 characters featured in the film. For the main characters, we also handled the texturing, rigging, and grooming in-house, ensuring a high level of consistency and quality throughout.
In addition, we oversaw the full rigging pipeline at animation studio Capirabrea for the remaining characters. Using our proprietary rigging tools, their rigging team — under our guidance — implemented the character rigs, including the final rig for Miss Moxy.
